THE LOCATION OF THE 12 LABORS OF HERAKLES ON THE TEMPLE OF ZEUS AT OLYMPIA
On the front of the Temple of Zeus at Olympia, ca. 440 BC, was the east entrance. It looked like this:

Here, on the east side, the sculptors depicted Herakles' final six labors. Beginning with the first six on the west side, let's look at all twelve in detail , and see how they chronicle and celebrate mankind's rebellion after the Flood.
